In my final year at Gymnázium Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, I redesigned the school’s often-joked-about logo, refining it with feedback from designers and sparking conversations about a future visual update.
If you look at the website of Gymnázium Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, the school I went to until 2023, you’ll notice the unusual logo at the top. There were a lot of jokes about this logo at school. In my final year, I decided to design something that could replace it. It was hard to get started, but after some time, I came up with a design that you can see bellow. I discussed the logo with experienced designers. Sadly, the old logo is still on the gymroznov website. There was also a plan to redesign the website in the future. The main inspiration was original old logo, it was represented by a smiling figure holding a book. In the G letter you can see a little smile.
